Madison County policy states that students will have two weeks from the day they return to class to complete missed assessments. Any and all work not made up by the 2 week point will be assigned a grade of zero.

Consequences
Remember, it is your choice to follow or not follow established policies. Any and all infractions of these policies will produce negative consequences and/or loss of privileges such as, but not limited to:

· 3rd offense All of the above and notification to parents

Students, I take my responsibility as your teacher seriously. I expect you take yourself and this course seriously. Parents, if you have any questions regarding this syllabus or throughout the semester, you may contact me at BHS at 256-851-3300 and leave a detailed message along with a number where you can be reached. However, the easiest way to contact me is via e-mail at [email protected]. Parents, you now have an assignment: I am requiring that a parent of each student respond to me by Friday, August 14 confirming that he/she has read my Spanish I syllabus and understands the course in detail. I am also requiring that you include one paragraph informing me about your child. Doing this allows me to get to know your child’s characteristics much sooner than I normally would. Most kids will not share how great of a person they truly are, but I have learned that parents always pull through. To respond, please visit my webpage http://senorawhitesspanishclass.weebly.com. Once there, please read the parent letter, the Spanish I syllabus, and scroll to the bottom of the page to use the contact form at the bottom of the “casa” page for your assignment. I am looking forward to hearing from each of you and having a successful semester of Spanish I with your child.
